If you’re looking for a break from the usual packaged Halloween candies or want to add something spooky and sweet to your holiday party spread, this Halloween bark will satisfy your sweet tooth. This five-ingredient chocolate bark features a duo of bittersweet chocolate and white chocolate; the two are melted and swirled together and then are topped with crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, broken pretzel sticks and candy corn.

Can’t stand the waxy texture of candy corn? Swap it out for another festive treat like chopped Snickers bars, miniature peanut butter cups or orange M&M's. Ditto for the Oreos and pretzels — add crushed potato chips, bite-sized pieces of cookie dough or mini marshmallows for a devilishly delicious bite.

To create the chocolate swirl, start by pouring the dark chocolate onto a prepared baking sheet in a smooth, even layer and then allow it to chill in the refrigerator for about five minutes. Remove it, top with the white chocolate and chill again for another two to three minutes. By quickly cooling the chocolate, you’ll allow them to set ever so slightly, making it easier to swirl the two together, creating a marbleized effect; otherwise, you run the risk of simply creating a homogeneous swirl of milk chocolate.
