Kelly Vaughan is the Associate Digital Food Editor for She has more than four years of experience contributing food and lifestyle stories to Brit + Co, The Hartford Courant, Hartford Magazine, Edible Nutmeg, Edible Queens, Real Simple, and The Kitchn. Her work has also been syndicated on online editions of Better Homes & Gardens, Extra Crispy, Food & Wine, Parents, Shape, Southern Living, and Travel + Leisure. Kelly spent a year and a half working as a line cook in a traditional French brasserie, where she ate dozens (possibly hundreds) of macarons and endless handfuls of pommes frites. She graduated from Trinity College in Hartford with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and English.
